    I purchased this book from a blind purchase and it has not disappointed me. If you’re seeking some insights other than what you already know -page 61. Pick up this book. It gives you a deeper understanding on how to go from impact to high and intentional impact. Monica makes you think about your own intention for doing this work.Every executive and those leading DEI can benefit from reading this book.

    Author uses real life experiences to show how hard it can be to maintain professionalism in today’s world. I enjoyed her example on how young military personnel can do corporate jobs with 3-4 yrs of training. Overall a great read!

    Love this book. It’s engaging & very practical. As a Latina Professor I needed help with my intentions & impacts of delivering my messages to students. I am a work in progress.     This book was both instructive and entertaining. Monica’s approach is very fresh. She is a great storyteller, humble in describing her many accomplishments; and an excellent educator. She teaches through her life experiences and acquired wisdom. Moreover, she takes the time to provide practical advice anyone can employ in their own practice. This one is a must read. She demonstrates the importance of compassion, patience, and the importance of putting yourself in new and uncomfortable spaces so we can speak with authenticity! Wherever you are in your DE&I journey, you’ll find this book very useful and a joy to read.
