Author uses real life experiences to show how hard it can be to maintain professionalism in today’s world. I enjoyed her example on how young military personnel can do corporate jobs with 3-4 yrs of training. Overall a great read!

This book was both instructive and entertaining. Monica’s approach is very fresh. She is a great storyteller, humble in describing her many accomplishments; and an excellent educator. She teaches through her life experiences and acquired wisdom. Moreover, she takes the time to provide practical advice anyone can employ in their own practice. This one is a must read. She demonstrates the importance of compassion, patience, and the importance of putting yourself in new and uncomfortable spaces so we can speak with authenticity!
