The 2nd annual Race & Social Justice Institute will focus on the intersection of race, social justice, and education, and is presented in partnership with the Cape Fear Museum, UNCW, and New Hanover County Schools. Participants will examine the historical and socio-political contexts of education, local and national advocacy efforts with communities of color and education, policies that affect educational practice, and ways to move towards hope and healing.
