This book has changed my life. I have always had trust issues with the Lord, it’s like I just didn’t know HOW to trust him. This devotional has given me the tools to learn to enjoy him, to simply rely on him. I have a deep knowledge of God and honestly have been a Christian for decades, but though I have seen answer to prayer, experienced incredible power over areas in my walk and feel his presence most days in my life I have had a minimal amount of TRUE joy. Trust has been the root of the problem. I really never would have thought that my inability to totally trust him was the reason for the emptiness that lingered in my heart.He has been showing me that I run my race like a rabbit and instead need to run it like a tortoise! I had fallen away from the lord and was so addicted to watching movies etc. depressed and my time went so fast and unproductiveI had a hard back book of Sarah young given to me years ago and sat on coffee table. I wasn’t reading etc for years. One day it clicked the lord spoke and guided me back to the book but I wanted something that might have a place to writes notes this was it!!!Also the iPhone had soo many Bible reading plans etc but it just lead me down a rabbit hole. I needed something tangible so I woukd not use phone since I was not disciplined with time and focusI have been using it daily first thing when I wake up and added the Bible plan that is in the back for plans. (2 week plans to get through Bible). I sit on porch with cup of warm lemon juice and meditate with GodNow my time – is unbelievable. If I out God first and read and pray his word. My day goes like a charm. I get so much accomplished and time is not flyingIf I do not start with god then my day goes haywire and time is not spent wisely.So lord reminds me. Start with him if I want more time in my dayIt really does work

Plenty of writing space.The cover is sturdy and the spine flexible enough to be able to write comfortably. My first entry was made using a Sharpie pen (not marker) and it did not bleed through or leave any ghosting on the opposite side of the page. A Bic Brite Liner highlighter did not bleed through or create any ghosting. Also, I appreciate the ribbon page marker.The font is definitely large enough for me to read without reading glasses.This would make a terrific gift.
