Great book that forces you to look inward and reflect on root of negative thoughts or emotions. Once you discover root of negative emotions, the book gives example about how ask God for help and declare HIS Word over that area. It gives steps and practical suggestion about moving forward in your life from your past. I highly recommend this book. And I knew it was God calling me to it. I’m in the most uncomfortable season in my life with many paradigms I’ve shaped over the years that have managed how I deal with certain struggles. And this book taught me to embrace my vulnerabilities and to not hide for them. It’s a wonderful book that I’ve recommended to every woman I know!

So nice I bought it twice! I purchased this book after beginning the audio and hearing too many gems not to have a physical copy on hand. After reading some of the chapters aloud to my family, I offered to loan the book to my mother when I finished. She decided she wanted her own copy to mark up and highlight. So here we are! This book speaks to anyone who has allowed their past to affect their present/future. Only get this if you’re ready to be called putt and actually make a change in your life.

Book did not come this way. I have had it for a while. Just started reading it and it is amazing. I’ve always loved Sarah jakes Roberts but this book is very eye opening and I relate to her so much more now.

Typically, books like this do not give thorough steps as to how to move forward, but Roberts covers that. I definitely recommend this book if you are someone who appreciates the gift of writing and who is willing to be openly engaging with tour vulnerabilities throughout the book.
