I love my Clic’s. I have owned 4 pairs of them already. There is one con to them. I buy the XXL because I like the adjustment feature. Problem is the back part in the photo wears out and the plastic breaks over time. Why I have had 3 pairs already ( one I lost at the airport security check ). The current pair seems to be holding up very well, so it seem adjustment were made to “beef” up the plastic. We will see how long these last though. I get people asking me about them ALL the time and I tell people where to buy them. Ever since I saw these on CSI:NY, I had to have them.

I absolutely love these readers! When not on my nose they remain in a position where they are not in the way so they won’t get damaged or lost. That is a real time saver for me since historically I have spent a lot of time looking for my glasses. The lenses are good quality. I can’t lay in bed and read with these, but I keep a regular pair on the nightstand for that. During the day, they hang around my neck and I hardly notice they are there until I need them. I’m on my 3rd or 4th pair of these glasses. Usually, I get about 2 years of use before they break and need replacement. I usually buy a new pair as soon as the previous pair breaks as I find them very convenient and well-made even though they don’t last forever. I wear them typically all day but not when I sleep. Since I’m constantly hooking them together and unhooking them when not needed, a person who uses them less frequently would probably get them to last longer. Nevertheless, I prefer these glasses to the other types that I tried as they rarely fall off and can be put on very quick. I even wear them when I do maintenance around the house so I’m not surprised when they need replacement because I put them through a lot of situations that they are probably not designed for.

I love having my reading glasses at the ready at all times. I use them for looking at the PC screen, reading a label, picking up a book . . . on, off, on, off . . .Before getting the Clic Magnetic glasses, I used a strap with plain-ol reading glasses. The strap kept falling off, and I would sometimes get tangled up with my ear buds. No such trouble with the Clic Magnetic glasses. They’re always there, yet so easily pulled out of the way. Just separate right and left halves, then they hang nicely out of the way.I found another benifit . . . I use C-Pap nightly, and if the masks on, I can’t use my reading glasses. But the Clic Magnetics can be easily placed underneath the nose-to-forehead mask piece. Sweet!

I originally purchased the OG clic glasses and for anyone with a larger cranium (I wear a 7 5/8 fitted cap), no way the original will fit comfortably. Fast forward and I went with the XXL version and this thing is perfect. My only wish is that it came in more color options (e.g., I wanted clear but the closest they have is a “smoke”, which is a clearish gray color. I’ve only had the glasses for 2-days so time will tell on the durability, but again, so far so good…..

It took a few tries to get the right pair, size wise and number, but I am very happy. I wish I had more colors available in the larger size I wear. I love these glasses. In fact, I love these glasses enough that other people buy them from my recommendation. No longer do I have to go through every pocket to find my reading glasses when I need them. You do still have to put them on and I sometimes forget to. And, that magnet will pick up things like your car keys. That is both a blessing and a curse. Sometimes you can use them to find a lost screw. Sometimes they stick to your car when you get in. At least you know the car isn’t all plastic. I really enjoy and love these glasses and highly recommend them if all you need is readers and you don’t want to wear glasses all the time.

I LOVE these glasses…with some minor reservations that may now be fixed. I found these while watching the movie “Wild Hogs” from a few years ago. If you haven’t seen it, you aren’t missing much…but in that movie, William H. Macy’s character is introduced when he turns to the camera and pulls apart the nose piece of the glasses he was wearing to do some close-up work. As soon as I saw that, I HAD to have a pair of those glasses!! A couple of months later, I found them here on Amazon. At that time, they were only available in tortoise. I ordered my first pair of the XXL version.At first I LOVED them. They did exactly what I wanted them to do and were SO amazingly convenient. The glass is good, and the optics seem to be correct. But, beyond that my love of these is the functionality. They WORK…and they are reliable and AWESOME…but I was to discover that the reliability was only to a point.The XXL version of these glasses has a metal connector in the back that slides inside a vinyl/plastic sheath. To widen them out for my XXL melon, the ends of the metal connector were the only thing still inside the retaining sheath. It took about two months for one of the sides of the sheath to crack from the torque of moving the glasses up and down from your face to your neck. Or, if you were moving them and dropped one side, that would be enough to crack the sheath holding the XXL extension.It felt like bad design. Or maybe they cheaped out on the plastic that went into the frame that created the sheath. Whatever it was, my glasses were broken. That’s bad, because by that time, I was hooked. I was using these things everyday…there was no way I was going back to traditional reading glasses. So, I went the obvious route…I grabbed a little duct tape. I reinforced the cracked areas of the sheath with a little gray tape and, voila, my glasses were once again functional. Although, my daughter did try out a new Jeff Foxworthy redneck line when she saw them: “if you’ve got duct tape on your reading glasses…”I cheaped out with my reverse-geek tape job for a few more months. During that time, I found myself wearing these more and more. I normally use them in the office…but I was taking them into my workshop, working around the house…they were just SO handy! When I got to the point that I was wanting to wear them out…among other people…that’s where I decided to get another pair. By that time, the smoke option for frames was available. When my second pair arrived, I vowed to handle them gently and keep the XXL sheath intact.I was vigilant for about 18 months. I don’t even know what happened. I just know how disappointed I was when I discovered the crack on one of the sheath sides. I did another home-grown repair, this time with a little black Gorilla tape…hoping to be a little less conspicuous than my previous duct tape job. They looked okay. But I was self-conscious about the black tape sitting on my neck.I had gotten close to two years of service out of my smoke pair before deciding to buy these…this is one of two pairs I just bought…black and smoke. And, I’m happy to report, I think the folks at Clic have figured it out. The sheath for the XXL sizer on these newest glasses feels like it has been reinforced. I’m not going to be twisting it or anything…but it feels like it might be a bit sturdier. We’ll see. Even if they break on me again…I’m pretty sure I’ll be back for another pair…they are just so darned HANDY!!

I got these for work in which I’m quite active reading small print and physically moving and picking up items. Use these daily and they look and feel great. I bought these for my husband who destroys glasses on the regular. He has sat on these. He has slept in these. He has not destroyed these! They hang around the neck and are hard to lose. When he takes them off, he will usually hang them on a knob somewhere nearby like a bedroom dresser or even kitchen cabinet. In all other situations they are around his neck. This is not his first pair however. The previous pairs have been retired of old age. As in YEARS of wear. They can yellow over time if you get ones with translucent frames so I don’t recommend those. I wish they sold higher strength lenses though. As we get older, we need them! I tried to use his once. Once. I have long hair and they do not fit comfortably under my hair. I could wear them over my hair in an emergency, but that looks stupid for regular wear. Long story, short…..Great glasses, last a long time, don’t get them if you have long hair.

Its a plastic type reading glass, I got the XXL, the expandable width helped a lot. having it around your neck with a solid neck band design was cumbersome at first, but now I think it’s need to meek it in place. The magnets are strong. Solid Product and affordable, its not high end or high style, but for work and everyday use, it’s pefect for me. I’m planning to also get prescription Bi-focals, that how much use I’ve gotten out of these CLIC reading glasses.

I have worn Cl7c magnetic reading glasses for about 8 years now. I love that the lenses are actual optical lab quality lenses. Having the option to have your prescription lens inserted is a bonus! You will never lose your glasses again! When not in use, they hang weightlessly from your neck. I order the XL size for the extra space behind my head – that way the back doesn’t get caught in the bands on the back of my mask. That also gives me the option of wearing them further down my nose if I want. I ordered this pair for my elderly aunt after she borrowed mine to read something. She found they were comfortable, and she was able to read a newspaper easier than with her Rx glasses from the ophthalmologist. I suspect she needs a new Rx, but she is sheltering at home to avoid Covid. These are perfect for now. Oh, and each pair I have bought have lasted over three years. Much more cost effective than replacing readers and lanyards every other month!

I’ have several friends that had Clics and I finally decided that they really did fit how I use readers. They came right when promised (4-5) days. The magnetic bridge has just the right amount of pull to be secure, but not so much that they are the least bit difficult to remove. The extra length that the arm extension allows the frames to rest in a more natural place, not too close to being under one’s chin. Priced right, light.I keep a regular pair of 1.5 readers on a night stand for reading in a sleeping position, Don’t move, don’t lose. You’ll find that if you wear other glasses you may find yourself trying to pull them apart from their front center. Smoke turned out to be a pleasant color choice.

I’m a big guy. I have a very thick neck and a big head. I’m just big. Regular Clic glasses were just too tight against my temples and hung under my chin instead of around my neck when no in use. This pair expand across the back and on the sides and they fit me perfectly. They’re comfortable and convenient. I’ve had them four months and they’ve held up very well so far. They’re pretty expensive but they works as advertised.

After having broken so many pairs of reading glasses, these are a relief to have. I now almost automatically put these around my neck whenever I go out and forget them – until I need them. Always have quick, easy access. At first I felt a little self-conscious about appearing old with them around my neck, but the convenience and ease makes you forget any of those thoughts pretty quickly. Unfortunately, I abuse these a lot, but they have held up very well. The only thing I might say is that the magnification does not seem quite as much as other brands (I know it varies a lot among different brands) so you might want to order up one level for good results. Still very good and effective for me.

I especially like the XXL version because it is designed so you can widen the back fastener to make it easier to put on and take off. The sides, near the lenses, move so you can get a nice tight fit. The downside is they cost a fair amount of money…about $30.00, so try to use care putting them on and taking them off. I think I get about 6 months with a pair before having to replace them. Enjoy!

I wear these every day and they have fallen off lots of times when I forget about them being there and do something like take my shirt off. I’ve been wearing these type glasses for a couple of years. These are as good as any! I have two pair. Only issue I had was the back connector broke (but most likely because I wore while leaning back in recliner) but I fixed with black electrical tape and they are great for around the house. The other pair is my main pair and great! Will buy again when needed. If you use this magnet type click in the front glasses, most likely you won’t feel comfortable with the old style ever again.

These are the best reading-glasses that I have owned; & I hope that this lengthy-description will answer some questions & prove to be helpful.They do not fold up to be carried in a case or pocket.I keep mine around my neck, “clicked” together at all times. They are quite comfortable to wear this way during the day; & one may easily “unclick” them & “reclick” them over the eyes in seconds as needed, effortlessly.I ALWAYS lost my reading-glasses prior to buying these. I have an uncle who purchased two pair; & I bought mine on the same day that I saw his.I still occasionally misplace them; but I have never lost them entirely (or broken them, because they were folded inside of a pocket).My 4-year-old granddaughter loves them as well & refers to them as “Granddaddy’s magic glasses.”The person who commented that they are not great for reading in bed is absolutely correct, for the reason stated. Thus, I keep a pair of “lesser,” cheap reading-glasses on my bedside table for this purpose.Otherwise, these are the perfect reading-glasses.The ONLY thing that may be problematic for people with large heads is that one may pull the back apart entirely when trying to expand the frames. My uncle repaired this quite neatly with some heat-shrink tubing. Our heads are quite large; & being careful, I have not experienced this issue.I heartily-recommend these.

If you have a “big head” (literally), you won’t find better non-prescription “inexpensive” reading glasses than these. I wear reading glasses over contacts, and am very hard on the glasses. Cheap drugstore reading glasses do not fit my large head, and they are not durable in my experience. My expensive, well made, and right-sized Nike-frame prescription reading glasses are excellent — but they go in-and-out of the shirt pocket all day, every day, and sometimes they fall out of the shirt pocket. A few years ago I bought this Clic product, but in the “one size fits all” version. Tried to modify them to work on my large head, but they would not fit. These XXL size Clic glasses fit perfectly, and are so comfortable hanging around my neck that I often forget they are there. Have had them 3 months and they show no signs of wear. OK looking but not high fashion, though I’m not looking for that especially around home and home-office. An excellent product, and well worth the money!

I’ve had my first pair for almost 10 years and they still work perfectly. I finally bought a second pair because my eyes are getting weaker so I needed more magnification. Unlike many products that are made cheaper over time so that the manufacturer can keep the cost down, these seem to be the same great quality. I use them in my shop where I’m constantly putting them on and taking them off so having them hanging from my neck keeps me from wasting time trying to remember where I left them. The quality of the lenses is way better than your drug store reading glasses.

I wear a 7 3/8’s hat and have bought these type of glasses before. They were too small for my head and if I moved just right I would separate the magnets with them on my face.
