In support of the Peninsula Conflict Resolution Center’s (PCRC’s) work in fostering authentic conversation and restorative action, the Midpen Media Center co-produced the first televised dialogue in a series of PCRC dialogues focusing on community race relations. This first episode was a platform for middle and high school youth to voice their opinion around the African American experience with a resolve to improve race relations within their communities. The PCRC’s conversation was anchored around a TEDx talk, followed by a facilitated break-out group. Producers: Thomasina Countess Russaw, Director, Engaging Communities Initiative, PCRC; Michelle Vilchez, Executive Director, PCRC; Karen Adams, Staff Producer, Midpen Media Center.
