This is a short read, but boy does it give you a lot to think about. Came away after reading it thinking, I can do this. Great advice.

As I was reading this book….every single word gave me inspiration. This book was packed with power and it was a quick read that got now will be my go to confidence booster. I sit here wondering what my next level was going to be and well I saw the dream and vision as I was reading. Its a late night and my kids are on their tablets and I want scream because I’m walking into my next level and with power no matter what. This book is fire and has changed my life.

This book by Karen Arrington is truly life changing for all women. Especially if you need to be motivated to be the best you can be, then this is definitely the book for you. It’s a small book that can go everywhere with you. But if you are like me, when you go places there’s always young women that I end up giving my copy to. I’ve purchased and given away over 6 copies thus far not counting those I purchased as gifts and sent directly to them. Bottomline, buy the book, read it, then buy it for all the young women you know. You won’t be disappointed.

An amazing read…Recommend for all women

I bought this book as a recommendation. I am so glad I did! Once I picked it up, I couldn’t put it down. I received so many nuggets for my next level. This book is a must read. It’s written clearly, it’s easy to understand and it’s a life changer.

Quick read and full of GREAT CONTENT! I’m grateful that I read this. Truly inspiring and touches on so many topics.

I am such a fan of Karen Arrington after reading her book, Your Next Level Life; 7 Rules of Power, Confidence, and Opportunity For Black Women In America. Your Next Level Life has given me the advice and tools needed to shift my mindset and change my life after a year that has been testing for us all, and one in which for myself, was difficult to focus on my dreams and goals to position myself to live that next level life. Ms. Arrington has written an informative and inspirational guide for Black women to follow in this very much appreciated quick read. She lists seven empowering rules to elevate to your next level in a straightforward and friendly tone which makes it easy to visualize that purposeful and abundant life you desire, and to manifest it. I also love the fact that Ms. Arrington has a list of resources and pages with prompts at the end of her book. Your Next Level Life, is definitely a book that should be in every woman’s library, on a coffee table, and gifted to a friend or relative. It is a must read that won’t disappoint.

Karen Arrington’s book Your Next Level Life: 7 Rules of Power, Confidence, and Opportunity for Black Women in America, is a great read for any woman who is seeking to “level up” in various aspects of her life personally and professionally. It is an enjoyable and easy read. Once you pick it up, it will be hard to put down. I read it in one sitting while I was on Jury Duty. Karen gives you very practical, doable and realistic advice. Karen also gives great anecdotes to make each chapter come to life and thoughts for you to consider. She also asks you questions, which give you the opportunity to think deeply about them and respond. One thing I also really love about this book, is at the end of the book, Karen provides you with a list of resources of black women professionals in different industries and organizations who can help you to reach your “next level life.” Lastly, I think this book would also make a great gift to your friends, women’s support group or reading group. I plan to order several copies of her book and give them to my girlfriends as gifts for the holidays or their birthdays!

(See that cover to the right!)In this book, Karen divides it into seven rules, which if you follow, you can live life the way you want to–the next level up from where you are living now or even a level so high you didn’t realize you could live there!How big do you want to live? The cover asks you. “Don’t settle for a life of invisibility and mediocrity. This book is an absolute gem! It’s short, sweet and filled with savory rules for success, as well as incredibly helpful resources. It’s given me a huge boost of confidence to turn my dreams into reality. I highly recommend it!

I am not sure about all of you, but lately I have been feeling this push to shift my life in terms of my thinking and reaching my full potential to, well, reach my Next Level Life! This book came right on time. Sometimes we know we are ready to make a change, or a few changes, but we subconsciously seek affirmation or “permission” to activate the shift. Well Queen, you’ve found it!Ms. Arrington offers life advice that is easy to read, understand and apply. Many of the message surround stepping out of your comfort zone, stepping up to accept the best life has to offer and taking risks. A lot of us, including myself, do not like the idea of “risky business/living,” but that is where wonderful things transpire.Not only am I inspired by the steps she took to push her life into the next level, the words she shared not only proves anything is possible but that it’s not impossible for you to obtain it. After reading this book, I am moved to look into grants, treat myself/portray myself as the boss I am and maximize on all the amazing things that already live in me.This book is a great gift for women of all ages and an amazing gift to give yourself! Recommended for anyone needing tips on how to level up. There is no time like now! Get started now on the life you want

This is definitely not the kind of book I usually read. And usually, I don’t even give a moment’s attention to ideas like “dream-big” and “write-your-dream-down” and “your-dream-is-your-birthright.” However, some wonderful things have happened to me lately. One of my dreams came true (I got a book published that I’d worked on for five years) so now I DO believe in taking a risk and thinking outside the box and believing in a dream. Karen Arrington is Black. She’s a successful businesswoman and philanthropist, and her book was written with Black women in mind… but her advice works for every woman. Really, it would work for every person. Harrington shares big “rules” to follow, like “Expand Your Horizons” and “Identifiy Your Superpowers” to small gems. A tiny tidbit I appreciated was this one: make chores like researching scholarships (or agents/publishers, in my case) fun and inspiring. I’ve never made my surroundings pleasant when doing grunt work like this. A candle? Music? Having a friend over? Making a few changes would have made chores like this more appealing, and obviously. Harrington has what it takes to make her cause more appealing… to make her business propositions appealing. So give this book a read if you have dreams you’ve not reached yet…

I enjoyed this book. It sparked a drive to Dream Big! Go after those things that have been on my goal list and make it happen.
