I’ve purchased many different pairs and I keep breaking them. I’ve had these for a couple months and store them in different pant pockets. They been knocked off my face, horse playing around, I’ve sat on them and dropped them. They still haven’t broken. Not that I’m trying.

I own multiple pairs in both 2.0 and 2.5 strengths, for home, work, car, etc… They are flexible and very durable — I can keep them in my back jeans pocket while I’m jogging! They are exactly what I need for everything I do. I don’t much care for the case — previously they came with a very plain case which I prefer. But the glasses themselves are super — I haven’t found any others that work for me like these do.

Precisely because they are so flexible, I can keep these things in a pocket, continually half-sit on them, and they are still fine. For this reason, they have made the difference between me having glasses with me, and NOT having them with me. Don’t do the nasty metal three-packs from CVS; they bend and have lousy lenses. Buy yourself two pairs of these and be done with it.

2.5 and 1.5 both great glasses. I use the 1.5 for night driving (really helps better tan amber glasses) and the 2.5 for regular reading. Very light and don’t break……as of yet. I drilled a small hole in part that goes around ear to insert a thin fishing line to hang around my head when not using.

These are the best reading glasses! I had my previous pairs for about ten years. The same pairs! I only needed new ones because my eyes need stronger lenses. They are sturdy and fold flat to fit in my purse. I keep 2 at home, 1 in my purse, and one in my desk at work. Highly recommend.

These are very lightweight and bendable. Which is what I wanted. But if you are not looking for those qualities then these are not for you. I break glasses with regularity. These bendable ones last a good bit longer and get the job done at an inexpensive price.

I love these readers. I first found them in stock at a Mid East Coast Grocery Chain (Wegman’s) but moved where their were none of those stores, when I broke my pair after about a year of abuse, I was happy to find these for sale on Amazon! I have since bought two pairs. I love them since they fold nearly flat, and are flexible enough for me to stuff in my front pants pockets… and have been very tough to stand up to the abuse I give them… I do a lot of work outside and in garage and these things have held up nicely. They have not broken like other pairs in areas like the arms and hinges from wear… they have only broken so far cause of my own fault.

I have 2 pair of these and love them. However, I had to very carefully and very slowly bend the “arms” outward because they arrived too tight, even for my smallish head and would have caused headaches. I knew I was risking breaking them but they turned out great. I like these better than the thinner frame version of the same brand that I used to wear. Although I never had the too-tight problem with the thinner version.

I just love the Select-A-Vision glasses, particularly the Sportex models. They are the most durable glasses I wear. They get a workout around me and hey last a long time. They are not, however, indestructible. They won’t take a direct hit (stepping on them) but pretty much endure everything else. I lose mine more than I break them.
