The Economic, Social, and Cultural Council (African Union ECOSOCC) is involved in peacebuilding in Africa through activities geared towards preventing and resolving conflicts as well as recovery after conflicts have been resolved.
ECOSOCC is also engaged in advocacy and peace education campaigns on the continent to sensitize communities on the importance of peace and conflict resolution.
